Hello, long time since my last posting. I have been farming, this year we added a large garden in a field that we own beside our house. We live in Western North Carolina which probably doesn’t mean much to most folks.
This part of North Carolina has always been a thorn in the side of the bureaucracy in both the state capital, Raleigh and in Washington. Almost from the beginning in the latter part of the 16th century the type of folks were predominantly Scotch-Irish , poor and not inclined to take much off the gentry and the politicians. No beautiful plantations like the coastal area and the Piedmont. Mainly hunters, trappers and hard-scrabble farms on rocky soil. Very few slaves in this part of the state.
The first battle against the British Royal Governor took place not far from here some months before the fracas in Boston. ( The Colonists were severely beaten but that didn’t end the uprising) . During the Civil War, more folks from here fought for the Union than the Confederacy. We still celebrate the Scotch-Irish heritage with annual Highland Games.
Well so it goes. No rebellion recently but you never know. 
) Once I get all my beans, peas, corn, okra, etc in I will be back to talk about some latest news that will definitely interest you. We will talk about EFIE’s and a nifty web site that sells basic EFIE’s for much less than the prices I paid ( darn ) and some updates on building the water4gas electrolysis unit.
