A List Of Fuel Saving Devices From The EPA

I am going to summarize these . Some are well known to you specially if you lurk around the water4gas website or around the yahoo groups for water technology. This is how the EPA categorizes them:

Air Bleed Devices: These devices are designed to bleed air into the fuel injection/carburetor system and are generally installed in the Positive Crankcase Ventilation line. These are the devices called EFIE and others.

Fuel Max

Aquablast Wyman Valve Air Bleed

Gas saving Devices

Grancor Air Computer

Vapor Bleed Devices: these devices are related to the air bleed ones above. In these cases however, air is forced through a mixture of water and other ingredients such as antifreeze. These are usually found in the engine compartment.

Econo-mist Vacuum Vapor Injection System

Mark II Vapor Injection System

Turbo Vapor Injection System

Atomized Vapor Injector

Liquid Injection. These are usually mixtures of liquid added to the air and fuel intake system of the car instead of into the combustion chamber of the engine.

Goodman Engine System-Model 1800

Waag-Injection System

Ignition Devices: These are attached to the ignition system of your car/truck . The EPA says that they can be used as a part's replacement.

BIAP Electronic Ignition Unit

Special Formula Ignition Advance Springs

Magna Flash Ignition Control System

Baur Condenser

Fuel Line Devices: These are used as either heaters or coolers. When these types of heaters/coolers are used. The gas is usually preheated by the cars electrical system, the exhaust, or the engine coolant.

Russell FuelMiser

Fuel Expander

Jacona Fuel System Optimizer.

The EPA finishes by saying that the above devices may or may not help you save in your gas consumption and cost but if you are seriously looking for a way to save money you might want to consider trying one or two of the products.

The EPA website where these are listed with many others is located at:

http://www.consumerenergycenter.org/myths/gasoline_saving.html

It wouldn't hurt for you to go to the site and read the information posted by the EPA. They seem to be trying to consciously find alternatives to the use of fossil fuel. The DOE is another worthwhile website with much good information.

Before I finish here let me say with all seriousness, that neither the EPA or the DOE have recommended any of the above devices or technologies. If they had, we would all probably be saving big at the gas pumps.

I ran across a website the other day called Pre ignition Catalytic Converter or PICC or something like that. The person who wrote their website information sounded like your best friend who only wanted to be of service and to help you. I was suspicious because I came across a comment in the watergas group at Yahoo mentioning this website and saying that the owner was also behind a scam called The Free Energy Demonstration in Canada ( I am not sure that I have that title correct but if you check that Yahoo Group you will find references to that scam). and if you haven't read about that, please take a look at that discussion. I requested a quote on a similar device like the water4gas electrolysis unit and was told that this was really a two step process. The first would be a stop gap measure (my words not theirs) while they were working on the pre ignition device . Two days later a gentleman from Pa emailed me urging me to go ahead and buy this device which he was graciously predisposed to sell me for around 2,000 or more dollars. . I skimmed through his email recognized the huckster message and deleted it.

Be careful., the woods are filled with people wanting to help themselves to your hard-earned money. Well that's it for another day.

Talk to you tomorrow. All the best, Jim
