To wait for help from Washington to help guide you in choosing a method of Hydrogen Generation and the right Oxygen Sensor means you will be long gone while Washington continues to dither, play politics and just generally stumble around and look helpless. That is why you need to take the bull by the horns and start your own program to Generate Hydrogen safely and attach the right Oxygen Sensor to keep the added mileage gains.

Its been awhile since I have posted and watching the absolute balls up of our Government in attempting to handle the BP crises prompted me to write this post. Waiting for our Government to help all of us with the run away price of gasoline is best illustrated by the balls up of Government and its handling of the crises in the Gulf of Mexico. You will be long dead before any helpful intervention comes from Washington.

One thing about this field, there have always been several well tested and safe methods of generating the gas necessary to act as an additive to your high priced gasoline. Generating the gas is simple and can be generated by any of the several methods such as by Ozzie Freedom and his famous Water 4 Gas System or by the well known Smack and what was called Smacks Booster. These are all methods whereby the water used by the system ,which is an electrolysis system that splits molecules of water into its constituent parts of Two Hydrogen Atoms and One Oxygen Atom. The gas derived from the split is then added to the raw gasoline usually by using a separate vacuum line running from the container that houses the Hydrogen Gas to the closest inlet port into the carburetor/or fuel system on the engine. Several benefits of this mixture will occur almost immediately; first the mixture will cause the gasoline to burn more completely thereby reducing the bad emissions from the exhaust, secondly, you will usually have a gain in your miles per gallon or Liter of gasoline, and third the engine will almost always seem to give you more responsiveness when driving. A Win -Win situation.

Once you are up and adding additional miles to your MPG/Liter you will find that the fuel systems computer algorithm( codes) will always outfox your gains by reacting to the added amounts of clean oxygen added to the exhaust. The computer likes dirty emissions because the factory sets it that way. It is easier to switch back and forth from what the computer sees as a cold start ( higher amounts of gasoline or richness added) to a lean situation and less amounts of gasoline used. We want a lean situation but the car’s computer is not set up for that situation . If the exhaust is not heavy in hydrocarbons ( a normal situation) and if you don’t use an Oxygen Sensor than your will find that your cars computer will judge that the O2 Sensor is faulty and signal you with an error light . What you get is a lose of mileage gains and a malfunction light on your dashboard. It will look like your O2 Sensor is no longer working so the computer ignores the data from the sensor. What do you need to do? Simple. We know that the O2 Sensor is key to controlling the computer algorithm for leaning and richness of the gasoline that is fed into the combustion chamber. We use an already programmed O2 Sensor Device called an EFIE. This is an acronym for an Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancement The EFIE that I use I purchased from a website called fuelsavers.mpg.com. This is a link to an interesting article called Which EFIE Do I Need. It will give you a good idea of an EFIE and also several different types. This is an affiliate program for me so if you buy you should know that I will make a omission from it. The important thing is that the program works and is relatively easy to install.

Finally, as you can see the methods of generating Hydrogen Gas are well known, there is truly no mystery to it. A word of caution however, Hydrogen Gas is flammable and having an open flame around it is not a good idea. For further information, I have written a free 8 page ebook on Hydrogen Generators and some good background on the field. It is yours for the asking. Just email me at jimclay1153@gmail.com and I will send it to you.

Thanks for visiting, reading my Posts and taking the time to review this Post. Any information that you are interested in on my website is free for you to use. If you quote me or copy any stuff no big deal. I only ask that you quote the source, i.e., Tapwaterforgas.com. Thanks and all the best, Jim

There is a gentleman by the name of Robert Krupa who has invented one of the first upgrades to the old fashioned spark plug that has powered our cars since early times. The spark plug is called the Firestorm Plasma Spark Plug. What is so exciting about it is that the author claims you can add an additional 40 percent to your factory determined mpg. So if you now get 16 miles per gallon in your gas guzzler, the plasma plugs would then give you an additional 6.4 miles per gallon plus whatever your Hydrogen Generator is giving you. The plugs alone gave this experimenters car an additional 40% increase in miles per gallon. The inventor has recently gone to Brazil to build a factory for these plugs. Sad to say that no one else thought his invention should be incorporated with our cars and trucks. Brazil is striving hard to become energy independent whereas the US is still battling with the Congress over EPA standards and other foolish restrictions. None of the companies in America and in Europe were interested in the concept. I guess that is no surprise. The reach of the Oil Companies and big business is a long one. Here is a You Tube video of an reporter explaining about the plug. Tell me what you think? Forty percent increase is unheard of in this water fuel field or maybe I just err on the side of caution.

Here is the video.

Let me know what you think. As always I have that free ebook for you. Just email me at jimclay1153@gmail.com and I will send it you . There is no reason to delay. You can get more miles per gallon by just building your generator. It works and just visiting the water4gas forum or the forums at Yahoo will demonstrate that to you.

Don’t forget though with all the excitement about plasma spark plugs, etc. that the keystone of your Hydrogen On Demand System is the trusty old generator. No matter if is a Smacks Booster, Water4gas generator or any other hybrid generator makers, you still need the EFIE or the MAP enhancer.

The exciting thing is that maybe , just maybe, we are on our way to some energy independence even if it is making use of technology that we have know about( hydrogen generators) and modifications to the spark plugs and I guess the coil on the engines. I’ll take it even if it brings me just a few more miles per gallon.

Thanks for stopping by and reading the posts. Keep in touch and all the best, Jim

This video which I am going to try and add to this post shows how to build a simple Hydrogen Generator and what struck me was that you can generate enough Hydrogen/Oxygen and Vapor and add it to a bottle of tap water. I have pulled this from YouTube and wanted to share it with those who are interested. It shows that building a Hydrogen Generator is not as difficult as it sounds. You can charge the water in the bottle and use that water to power your car or truck. I believe that with this very simple generator you can get enough to begin gaining some miles per gallon.

IMPORTANT Without the EFIE or MAP sensor enhancer you probably will not save any gains that you could make but I believe that anyone could do this and begin getting their own back from the Oil Companies. Do please be careful. Hydrogen by itself can explode in the presence of an open flame so do not play around. But this is just how simple it is to build a Hydrogen Generator and use the resultant gas in your car. Let me know how you make out.

For a free ebook drop me an email at jimclay1153@gmail.com. Keep in touch and all the best, Jim

As an update to this Post, I have purchased some of the parts to this simple Hydrogen Generator and am in the process of building it. It is not a big deal and as long as you are careful and work in a well ventilated area you are safe. I am only using a garden tractor battery so am not using as many amps as recommended. Why don’t you try it and tell me through the comments section below the post just how easy it was for you as well. Talk to you later. All the best, Jim

Here are some tips to save gasoline. First tip, please make sure that you have tuned your car to its working efficiency. To explain further, make sure that spark plugs have been changed ( if you have high miles on the car) and are working properly. Along with that make sure that all filters have been replaced specially the air filter is free of dirt and essentially unclogged. Make sure that routine service for the number of miles on your odometer has been completed. This is probably one of the most important and critical tips that you can do to save gasoline and maximize your miles per gallon.

Tip two Have the all important correct inflation pressures on your tires checked and any deficiencies have been corrected. This is probably a good time to rotate and balance your tires for even wear and visually check for any abnormalities such as excessive wear on the sides ( whether toeing in or out correct this problem before it gets critical) and look for other wear spotos that might become a problem in the not so distant future. I usually do a quick visual check every time before getting it the car or truck. There is nothing like a flat tire from a nail that you didn’t see before getting in your car to ruin your day.

These are just some of the tips that you should use to keep your car or truck in good operating condition. Adding a Hydrogen Generator, EFIE and MAP sensor enhancer to your working equipment would also help to maximize your miles per gallon. But then you already know that. Right?

I’ve been bemused reading about tuning the cars engine and somewhat amazed at seeing how many ways you can effect fuel economy through tuning. A byproduct of the engine tuning group for maximum speed is that tuning for economy is also available. I haven’t really thought much about tuning for speed ( bad thought in this day of outrageous fuel prices) but tuning for economy- that’s a thought that sparks a lot of my interest. Since I enjoy and absolutely depend on my computer to interact with all you faithful and new readers on the web; I thought that I would talk about how to economize your fuel usage via a direct interface with your car’s ECU ( fancy word for computer).

TurnerTools.Com is just one of many tuning shops on the Internet. They have several interesting tuning products for sale and I have been taking a lot of time just reading about them and thought that I would present them to you for your interest. In the interests of time, I will add more comments tomorrow. This will be a short comment. Trust me, nothing too detailed in the art of tuning for speed or economy just some thoughts that might help us achieve better miles per gallon with the gas guzzler that we own.

We have talked about the Scangauge II and said that it can be a great support while we are juggling around the millivoltmeter with one hand and trying to make sure that the wiring on our Oxygen Sensor closest to the Catalytic Converter is correct for our EFIE to work on. The Scangauge will give us continuous readouts for fuel economy ( read MPG) through the fuel trip gauge and its 5-6 specific readouts. For $159.95 I thought that it was somewhat pricey but something that I would like to have. There were several for sale through Ebay Motors and those prices were a little bit more than the one I saw at TurnerTools.Com. The data stream from the Scangauge would give us up to date information from our engine as we were driving . A picture that I saw of the Scangauge in action was from Ozzie Freedom ( Water4Gas) and showed him actually getting double gas miles per gallon. What joy that would be. This Post will be continued tomorrow with several other devices from Turner Tools that will have a good effect on miles per gallon and fuel economy. One device is from Innovate and here is a direct link to the device. I think that you will be interested. More on this and another one tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by and reading.

This was an email to a gentleman in response to some questions from his children. I thought that I would re-print it here for what its worth.

As to whether the stuff ( Hydrogen Generation) works – yes but a qualified yes. If you expect 50 % mileage gains right off the bat, you probably won’t get them. If your expectations are more reasonable, 15-25% mileage gains then that is very do-able. Much depends on the car- those model years before the car computers and sensors were installed, can do very well with hydrogen generators due to the fact that they have a carburetor rather than a more sophisticated fuel injection system. Those cars/trucks after the advent of computers in cars and their data feeds called sensors do not do as well. The reason stems from the algorithms used by the computer manufacturers and the many functional objectives that go into a fuel injection system such as: fuel efficiency, power output, emission control, reliability, and on and on. Many of the objectives can be somewhat competing or working at cross purposes such as fuel economy and for example power output .

A hydrogen generator can bubble nicely in a 1975 Dodge for example, and be feeding into the closest vacuum hose to the carburetor and you will get nice gains. But and there is always a but, take my Mada 03 Truck. It has at least seven sensors, the important one for fuel to air ratio’s is the O2 sensor closest to the catalytic converter. This tells the computer to alter the fuel flow depending on the amount of O2,CO2 in the exhaust system. The basic algorithm might say if there is XX% of O2 in this area, either increase the fuel or decrease the fuel. Everything else changes as well. The power train module (fancy name for computer) messes with the throttle to either retard or increase, shifting can take place, and on and on. But any gains from the hydrogen are soon lost through the ECU’s data which is read that more fuel is needed to overcome the situation of more O2/CO2 in the exhaust system. This is just an illustrative point. Actually the fuel to air ratio is handled in a much different manner but the results are the same. Less leaning and more rich are the ECU’s response to the changes.

What we do, we experimenters, we feed hydrogen and oxygen, and water vapor into the closest point to the inlet manifold ( for fuel injected vehicles) to help burn more completely the fractionated gasoline molecules. So we get a cleaner burn; thats good for the environment, good for the owner cause his car burns cleaner and his engine is cleaner inside , and some extra miles per gallon come about as a byproduct. To keep the gain then, you have to somehow fiddle with the prime sensor-the Oxygen sensor so that the data being sent to the computer will allow you to lean the car/truck even more than the algorithm allows it. Many folks in the field work quietly keeping their gains and using what is termed an an EFIE ( Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancement ) to lock in those gains.
Boy, this turned into a major paper on the state of the art. Let me say that hydrogen generation is here to stay and has been for the past 90 some years or more. The technology has been known for a long time its just that the crises with fossil fuels has finally reached a boiling point. Added to the pinch we are all feeling is the spectacle shown on Television each day of the useless flailing about of the Congress and Administration busily playing politics as usual, and doing little to act for the people. I feel personally that Hydrogen Generation will bring you gains-but probably not 50-100%. If you are reasonable, if you want to help clean the environment, if you want to become part of this group of experimenters ( and there are a lot of us) and if you are tired of the inaction of our most deplorable Congress and Administration then join us but remember to keep your expectations reasonable.

I forgot to add that I have a free ebook, A guide to building or buying a Hydrogen Generator . If you will email me at jimclay1153@gmail.com I will send it to you. Let me know in the email whether you are going to build or buy. If you are just thinking about it mention that as well. My Posts are usually pretty educational if I do say so myself. I try and keep fluff out of the Post and just give you the straight stuff as I see it of course. Anyway, if you are interested in the free ebook drop me an email. All the best, thanks for stopping by, Jim

Hello again, just thought that I would add a word about gas additives. Many are the claims that they ” don’t work and are a waste of time and money,” whereas, others say that how you use them is the key to getting better miles per gallon. Well I can only tell you how it seems to me and whether or not I have had extra miles per gallon while using them. So here goes:

First it is important to be wary of all the claims until you test them for yourself. I cannot absolutely claim that I have doubled my miles per gallon due to gas additives alone not can I say that they do all the experts claim they do. Actually I wish that I had doubled my miles per gallon but I am nowhere there yet!! But what I can say is that using them, additives, every time I fill up my car or truck has given me some benefits which I did not have before.

The truck is an 03 Mazda 6 cylinder with a very noisy engine and exhaust. It is not a dual exhaust thank heavens but the single exhaust was loud enough. I feel that using all the additives: Acetone, Xylene and GP-7 every time that I fill up or even add 5 or more gallons has given me some good benefits . My noisy truck is much quieter, the engine is so quiet I have had to check it at a red light to make sure it is still running ( much to my wife’s amusement) . Well you might say ( if you knew me) you are deaf (which I am) but wear hearing aides in both ears and can hear pretty well. The noisy truck is definitely quieter. I know that I have been getting 18-19 miles per gallon now whereas I had checked it before and was fortunate to get 15-16 miles per gallon. Frankly that was the reason I became interested in the water for gas field. And finally having read the claims from GP-7, an additive that reacts with gasoline to become a viscous oil that lubricates the top dead center of the piston travel and also lubricates the rings as well, how could I go wrong ? If ever I need a ring job, I will let you know whether the GP-7 works according to the Manufacturers claims. But in the interim, my noisy truck is quiet, I have more pep in it and I seem to be getting 2-3 more miles per gallon. But also let me say, that I always add the additives after the partial or full fill-ups. I don’t skip then so the lubrication has done a pretty good job ( GP-7) and the rest has reacted with the regular gasoline as it should. I also change oil every 3K miles, check the air filter closely and change it when it needs it. I keep the tires rotated and balanced and inflated at the recommended pressure. I feel that all this goes into the additional miles per gallon.
I still have to say though that I am a little skeptical but if the truck is easier to drive and much quieter- who am I to not claim it. If it really works so well, then my Electrolyzer will work even better along with my EFIE and I should get around 25-35 % more miles per gallon. Wow- will I ever brag when that day comes. Thanks for stopping by and reading the Post. All the best, Jim

You should place a great deal of thought as to whether to build or buy ready made a Hydrogen Generator. Sometimes, I have noticed, Hydrogen Generators are offered for sale by folks who don’t have a lot of experience in setting one up under the hood. Any mistakes made in that area could have some interesting (not good) effects on the engine compartment if an explosion would occur. Since Hydrogen is a very volatile gas you wouldn’t want to make any mistakes in handling the canister. Safety is always important when handling any volatile gas.

Simplicity and ease in construction are the very hallmarks of a system like, for example, Water4gas. Let me quickly tell you that I have purchased their manuals back in March 08, so I know them fairly well. Smacks is the more technically complete system( given the way that they place the SS parts on the terminals and the numbers of dimples hammered on the plates); whereas the others are graded from somewhat difficult to construct to real difficult. The drawback of Water4gas is the cost of the manuals-$97.00 but the benefit is that they are easily read and have many photos helping you to build. The most obvious benefit from Water4Gas is that they are easily built and the elements that go into the building are easily found. One of the important goals of Water4Gas was that it was designed to work in any country no matter the $$ of the people. Is there anything more simple and easy to find than a fruit jar? My canister holding the terminals and assorted hoses in my charged system is a wide-mouthed Ball fruit jar with a plastic lid. Definitely simplicity!

Smacks originally (since my time in this field-March 08) used a large PVC pipe that I think was stressed to handle a certain amount of pressure. He has changed recently ( for the better) to use a wide-mouthed canister of clear plastic. Thus you can tell at a glance whether your water is low or not. Too little water and you can get a meltdown. Meltdowns are messy affairs not the least to your nerves when you peek under the hood expecting to see your hydrogen generator, generating away but instead find a few scraps of plastic and much water and catalyst strewn recklessly all over the engine. The damage usually is more to your nerves ( believe me) than the car. Not to mention the damage to your confidence in building a generator. But trust me, I have been there and done that. Your confidence comes back quickly and your ability to build a new generator comes equally as quickly.

If you are more comfortable buying then building there are a few websites that I want to draw to your attention. Certainly Smacks website in the UK, he sells kits to build or ready finished generators without the wiring and I think the vacuum hoses which are easy to add to a finished product. Another site is Holdgate Enterprises, a little more pricey but still a fine finished generator along the line of Smacks original drawings. Also in Florida, Bill Lang, I believe that is his name who sells finished generators as well as kits similar to the Water4gas ones.

The major differences are the amount of gas generated in each Hydrogen Booster. Normally with Smacks dimpled stainless steel plates, the claim is made that they get upwards of 3 Liters of gas per minute. The generators from Water4gas usually generate 1 Liter per minute. This seems to be the major difference in generators. But of course, when you look closely at the terminals the differences are striking. One is a simple wire either singular or doubled wrapped around the core of the terminal for Water4Gas. Smacks is an elegant solution of 16 stainless steel plates dimpled with a hammer to add more area for the hydrogen atoms to cling to the plates and finished off with a rubberized portion to contain the electrical force where it is needed and not to dissapate it into the solution. After having read that it probably doesn’t make much sense to you if you haven’t seen Smack’s diagrams. If it doesn’t make sense, I suggest that you travel to Smacks website and look at the building diagram of the terminals. They work very well and generate more gas than the simpler unit.

To end this very long Post, let me say that for me simplicity was the most important factor and so I purchased the Water4Gas one. But I also purchased the manuals based upon my mechanically challenged abilities and not for any elegance or 3 Liters per minute statistics. Lots of luck with your decision and what ever you do, as Pastor Jose said “it is better to do something then nothing.” I’m with you Pastor Jose. Thanks for stopping by and reading the Posts.

P.S. I have a free ebook on Hydrogen generators if you wish. Drop me a line at imclay1153@gmail.com and I will send it to you. All the best, Jim

As if the one email from Pastor Jose wasn’t enough to talk us into buying the Manuals of the Water4Gas System, here is an update from the good Pastor in his own words. If this doesn’t sell you on the worth of a Water4Gas system, I don’t know what will. Just so that you know, I am also an advocate of Water4Gas having bought my manuals way back in March of this year. You ought to visit their website and sign up for the free 7 Day Course. Its worth your while. Here is Pastor Jose’s most recent email. What a guy!!

Thanks Jim for this free ebook. I will take a picture of my electrolyzer later today and send it to you. I took that out of the car used it for charging the tap water we have at home and then I I used my electrolyzer jar as my charge water system (only without power as in H20 mode as describe in the water4gas ebook. I will keep you posted on my findings as I use them in my car.

I wrote to Pastor Jose yesterday and said that I had quoted his email on my website and that I hoped he wouldn’t mind. Here was his reply about not accepting the outrageous gasoline prices without fighting back.

By all means possible, let is inflict change. “The wrong thing to do is nothing. Whatever you can do is BETTER THAN NOTHING.”- from water4gas ebook. It is absolutely fine with me. While writing this email another pastor just came to my office and became interested about hydrogen generators and would like to the one I have in my car. After I my observation on my water charge system I will email Ozzie Freedom also. Thank you for the thought of possible help for my ministry.

God bless,

pastor elmo

What a guy. But you can see the many things that you can do with the simple Water4Gas system including charging your tap water at home and drinking it let alone using it in your car. The charged water will not hurt you and you will be pleasantly surprised just how good the water tastes after your charging. Good Heavens what more do you need to get the manuals. Here is a link that you can use if you wish.

By the way, if you feel as stirred as I did after reading the Pastor’s letters, he could use some $$ help in his ministry. He quoted that he drove 400 KM in a very rough area of the Philippines round trip to visit his charges. He is not asking for help by any means, I just thought if you would want to help him you can email him if you want. Enough of that.

I am working on my terminals for the charged system and should be able to show you a picture of a finisied negative terminal using stainless steel locking wire recommended by Ozzie. Saturday will be the earliest for that. Thanks for stopping by and reading the Post. All the best, Jim

Good Morning All. I wanted to share with you an email that I received from a Pastor in the Philippines this morning. I will do some cutting and pasting into this Post, using the Pastor’s own words. If nothing else this should tell you just how wide spread the interest is in Alternative fuels and specially water for gas. This Pastor by the way, is using the simple charged water system from Water4Gas.Com. Anyway: Here are the relevant parts of the email:

” Hello Jim: I would like to ask a copy of your free ebook. I have no way of buying online as I have no credit card of my own and just wanting to save gas in driving my car to work, church and ministry. My pastor friend in my Cc: is also wanting to save on fuel so please send him a copy as well. f you can send him your free ebook also, I will appreciate it very much. He is the one who first shared to me the idea of running a car on hydrogen after we hear of Dingel’s frustration about our government here concerning his invention.
I read a lot about fuel alternatives and tried to do something in my lancer 89 carb type, I’m an enthusiast but not an expert, I made my first electrolyzer out of a half quart jar, surplus vacuum check valve, and a broken pair of stainless scissor.
At least I see it really works in my lancer (see the picture of my car), I want to make it work very well in my car then helping others is my goal.
Thanks for your kindness.

In Christ,

pastor Jose Elmo Dialing

This is the kind of email that truly illustrates just how wide spread our water for gas field is and just how important our work is in hydrogen generation in our cars/trucks. My thought is if the good Pastor can make his system work from Water4Gas, then we all should be able to have that Hydrogen Generator chugging away under our hood and showing Big Oil what an energized world can do.!!!

Ozzie Freedom, the webmaster for Water4Gas has always said that one of his goals was to make that system available to all parts of our world. I believe he has done that and reading this email it says to me that the simplicity of the Water4Gas system means that it can be developed anywhere. thanks for stopping by and reading the Posts. All the best, Jim
