Fuel injected vehicles need an Electronic Fuel Injection Handler (EFIE) for all oxygen sensors upstream of the catalytic converter. Installing a modern electrolyzer to your engine will cause additional oxygen to appear in the exhaust. The computer will then add gas trying to "correct" this desirable condition. An EFIE is needed to compensate for this, and therefore achieve the full fuel savings available. Purchase your EFIE at www.fuelsaver-mpg.com.
Hello, I am a retired Hospital Administrator and RN. My wife and I live in the beautiful North Carolina Mountains in Western North Carolina. Drop me an email if you are interested in the hybrid cars and trucks. I plan to work on my 2003 B3000 Mazda and convcert from a gas guzzling 16MPG to a double digit MPG.
RunYourCarOnWater has a lot going for it with the price of the manual and the free information.
The one thing that I remembered about this website was the virtual assistant talking about the program.. I don’t remember that the site had a lot of information on it. The one thing that this site had that attracted me was the price of the Manual, $49.00 I believe it was. I think you can get all the information that you need in their manual and given the price of $49 its not a bad decision.
As an update, there is one remarkable feature in their Hydrogen generator called the Hydrostar that is different from most of the others in this field. This is the only one that I know of that features a toroidal coil in the generator. I believe that the coil acting under a pulsed current will make more hydrogen than the direct current ones. This is the reasoning behind the use of the coil. The second feature of the Hydrostar is in the method of providing current to the generator. Most programs in the field suggest you use a direct wire from the battery or from the ignition to power the generator. The Hydrostar uses a pulsed circuit that the authors say will disassociate more hydrogen by pulsing current from the distilled water and catalyst. For the money RunYourCarOnWater is a hard program to beat.
By the way, I have a free ebook on hydrogen generators and the water for gas field in general. I will be glad to send it you if you will email me at jimclay1153@gmail.com. Thanks for reading the Post, keep in touch and all the best, Jim
I was just visiting hubpages, a very well crafted Social Bookmark Site, and came upon a comment from a gentlemen about the Water4Gas system and its so-called simplicity of construction and look. Since there was a comment area that was a part of the post and since he asked for a response, I gave him one. My comment was as follows: Hello ( name removed) I will be glad to respond. First and most important, the Water3Gas system works as long as your expectations are reasonable ( that is a 15-25% increase ) is do-able for your average miles per gallon. If you expect to double or triple your mpg then you are listing to the fast buck boys and not those who are actively involved in this field. Since he also had touched on the aspect of this system as a too simple one to work I also reacted to that. I said that the system was designed to use simple, everyday things easily available around the world that could be used to make a working generator. I mean what is more simple than a fruit jar for goodness sake. I want on to mention about the two Nazarene Ministers who were building and showing members of their far flung church how to build the generators and the multiple uses that could be made of them. The one minister made a working generator from a single pair of broken stainless steel scissors that he found. Simplicity and the uses of everyday items to construct a working generator. Doesn’t these facts make you want to build your own and look how easy it is for us to do it. We have Home Depots and Lowes easily within driving distance and available to us. Many of the experimenters that live in South East Asia for example, comment on the non-availability of things that we have always taken for granted. How fortunate we are but enough of that.
The other item concerned crude oil exploration in several of our Western states. I thought that I would mention it to you. The report said that the strike would bring in about 2 Trillion Barrels of oil at the minimum. Do you think that that report is the reason why the price of refined gasoline has slipped to $3.57 a gallon for Regular? No I don’t think that the report has any bearing on the present level of gasoline. Do I think that the price of gas will go up in the Fall? Yes, I am braced and hurrying to complete my Hydrogen Generator before the gasoline goes through the roof. I for one plan to extend my miles for both Truck ( what a bummer) and the Toyota ( really good car). Are you going to build your generator before the price shoots through $5.00? I hope so. By the way, Water4Gas has a money back within 60 Days I think. That seems to me to be a win-win situation. Thanks for visiting and reading my Post. Keep in touch. All the best, Jim

I certainly cannot take credit for this comment by a lawyer concerning water/gas technology but still thought I would pass it on. This is a quoted comment from a longer opinion found on Google Search sometime ago. Not my own work but very definitely my opinion too. The question asked was by a water4gas manual owner about the effect of cleaner exhaust gases from our technology in California. The monitoring agency is called ARB or Air Resources Board.
“It is not an after market automotive part. It does not modify, tamper with or defeat the emission control system in any way. It is not defined as a “device, apparatus, or mechanism intended for use with, or as a part of, any required motor vehicle pollution control device or system which alters or modifies the original design or performance of any such motor vehicle pollution control device or system.” as defined in California’s Vehicle Code”
What it does meaning what water/gas technology is ” is simply a fuel generator that makes a combustible vapor from the constituent components of water that results in a fuel additive - which is Hydrogen - that is mixed at the air intake as a vapor to enhance the molecular structure of any Hydro-Carbon based fuel to make it burn cleaner. The fuel could be Gasoline, Propane, Natural Gas, or yes - even Diesel fuel. “
If you were concerned that the Air Resources Board, would get you when you had your emissions inspection this should allay your fears. With cleaner emissions, how can doing good be bad ? Well knowing our government they could find a way I am sure. If you would be interested in a copy of my free ebook drop me a line at jimclay1153@gmail.com and I will send it to you. Smacks Booster and Water4gas are hydrogen generators and good ones at that. Both use quality parts in their construction, one is more simplified than the other but overall both get the job done. That is they both generate hydrogen gas ( browns gas) and in so doing they are able to help you extend your miles per gallon of gasoline. One, Water4gas is easier to build when you consider that the canister is a wide-mouthed Quart-Sized Fruit Jar with a plastic lid. Nothing fancy about that and was designed to be a simple design that could be constructed of easily available parts in any world -wide location. Simplicity of design and of construction that allows a man in the back country of the Western North Carolina or a senior in Raleigh to build without problems. Smacks is a more intricate design due to the arrangement of the stainless steel plates and the number of dimples added to them. The terminals for Smacks Booster are then rubberized to ensure that the electricity flow is the right way and not dissipated into the water. Adding more caustic chemicals to the distilled water of Smacks design while helping the hydrogen and oxygen atoms to disassociate more rapidly adds a concern to the experimenter due to the very caustic nature of the catalysts.. I don’t think that anyone has yet done a complete study on whether the Anode of smacks booster is effected by the combination of caustic chemical and electricity adding to the wear of the terminal. The question then becomes, how often will you have to add a new terminal? At least I haven’t seen anything reported yet in the various Yahoo Groups that I frequent.
So, to summarize, both designs work for their owners and work well. However, without some method of keeping the mileage gains, all you have are good generators and fleeting results. Most car computers react negatively ( in our eyes) and logically to the computer to handle change outside the normal operating range. After all that’s what the computers are looking for; and they then do their job by adding more fuel to the mixture. That’s why a Generator alone without an EFIE is like a car without the engine..
The EFIE, actually a relatively simple device whose plans are available free on the web and in most of the manuals that you can buy from the Generator Companies, becomes the next essential part of the Hydrogen System. A generator without an EFIE is a good start that doesn’t last long. An EFIE without a generator could lead to overheating your car quickly without the cooling effects of the associated water vapor and hydrogen/oxygen from a Hydrogen Generator. Overheating due to leaning out the air to fuel ratio can lead to some bad consequences such as burnt values or other unpleasant things associated with too much heat and not enough cooling.. Definitely not a laughing matter. So, the generator is a wonderful thing but without the EFIE its not useful. .And the EFIE alone – well what else can I say, “burnt values anyone?” The moral of this story is that there are good reasons why a Generator and an EFIE are a compatible couple. Work them together and enjoy your gains. . I like those EFIEs associated with fuelsavers-mpg.com. Here is a link if you would like to visit them.

Is there anyone alive or over the age of 12 that believes that gasoline prices are coming down to stay? If so I would like to meet them. Do they still believe in the beneficial motives of big oil and all the big oil producing nations? Bless them because they are sheep ready for the next round of shearing. Please let me point out that the use of fossil fuel continues unabated ( although the US Government reported several billion less miles driven during the first peak of high gas prices). But we are back to driving around with over the speed limit and with reckless disregard for prices and available supplies here in the US. Do you honestly think that the demand for fuel has lessened around the world? Do you think that our government ( a misuse use of that word for the squabbling people in Washington ) are going to establish and continue a wise energy policy?? Or a wise and consistent Energy Policy anywhere else in the world?? As my grandson would say, ” Yeah right.”
The only way that a satisfactory and energetic Energy Program will ever have a chance to make it will be if we, the people, start it and continue it probably over the misgivings of the so-called politicians in Washington and every where else. Hydrogen generators, EFIEs and other enhancements to our poorly built gasoline engines are the only cure for the fossil fuel crises that I see on the horizon. I don’t think that the car manufacturers have a clue yet. Chevrolet sells what they call a” Hybrid” that gets 30 miles to the gallon and are proud of it. I ask you, with that kind of thinking we are a long way from any satisfactory solution to this gas crises.
So keep on building your Hydrogen Generators, keep on using your electronic enhancements to get around your poorly designed engine and keep on experimenting because, my friend, you and I are the only ones who care and are committed to do something about it.

I felt that I had to say something because it has been several days since I had made a Post. Unfortunately, my computer went haywire last Friday and I was without a computer until Monday AM
I am working on the shape of the Anode Terminal from the Water4Gas Electrolysis unit. Normally, the manual calls for a 1/8th inch Plexiglas cut and shaped to make a four sided terminal and then to wind the 316L wire around it. But, I have had problems shaping the terminal with the Plexiglas and finally began to use vinyl siding for the terminal. I am trying to stick as close to the manual as possible but sometimes have had to substitute one thing for another. I will take a picture of my terminal and post it to the website when I can . For the wire that will interact with the distilled water and catalyst; I am using NiTi wire. It seems to be much easier to wind and shape the terminal than the more stiff 316L. I have decidied to double braid it and will use around 12 or so feet of the wire. The NiTi wire is Nickel Titanium wire and works just as well as the higher grade if stainless steel wire. Since the cathode terminal will not have the heavy oxidation from the battery; its less expensive to use the more common 304 or stainless steel locking wire from Defender used in sail boats. I think that will be all for today. I will post more tomorrow and probably have some pictures of the terminal to post here.

The biggest problem in building your Hydrogen Generator is not in assembling all the parts or constructing it- but the one that causes all the problems just when you are ready to get ” cooking.” I mean that your generator is bubbling away but you have no hydrogen in the water. Whats happened you say. What has happened is that you have been caught by old mister seal. Your canister is not sealed and your gas is leaking out. Well what can you do?
There are several solutions for this very common problem. First you can go back to the original metal seal , the original screw cap and set up your metal top with the proper holes for the vacuum hoses and the high pressure check valve and other openings. It should seal very well as long as the metal doesn’t twist and distort from the pressure during electrolysis. Or you can use the recommended plastic wide-mouth top but this time build yourself a gasket from the metal lid and use it to snug-up your top. Finally, and this is my choice, you can wrap plumbers teflon tape around the top of the jar and screw the plastic top tightly onto the Electrolysis unit. This has worked well for me without getting into cutting a disc ( from the metal top) or heat shrinking a plastic coke bottle over the generator ( yes, that one was tried and according to the author of the post, worked quite well) .
I think that the joy of experimentation is trying different things and finding one that works well for you. Not only are we going to save money by getting additional miles per gallon but there is a certain visceral joy in trying something like taping a lid and having it work. Specially for those of us who have some problem with manipulating a screwdriver or operating a hammer. This is the true essence of the Do It Yourselfer.

ere is an interesting one from TurnerTools.Com I have included the comments from the package detail. Can you believe-increased fuel efficiency of the Air to Fuel Ratio? That’s what the package details indicated. This is speaking about something called the Predator and it is for a newer Mustang with the V8 engine. The author goes on to say,:” the power increase in the lower RPMs will yield a better throttle response. The increase in MPG is a byproduct of maximized engine efficiency, the improved timing curve and the Air to Fuel Ratio creates a more complete combustion, i.e., the engine extracts more power from each molecule of gasoline.”
Well I wonder how much MPG is extracted from the hand held engine tuner. This tuner ( not that you will be interested in it) sells for $369.99 . Wow, that is much more that the Water4Gas manuals at $97.00
I was surprised at the number of handheld tuning devices for cars and trucks. You would think that some smart person would develop a tuner that you could work with to change data points for the air to fuel ratio and to override the oxygen sensor. Imagine using that along with your Hydrogen Generator and cranking out multiple miles per gallon. Sigh- I guess that time is not here yet.

I’ve been bemused reading about tuning the cars engine and somewhat amazed at seeing how many ways you can effect fuel economy through tuning. A byproduct of the engine tuning group for maximum speed is that tuning for economy is also available. I haven’t really thought much about tuning for speed ( bad thought in this day of outrageous fuel prices) but tuning for economy- that’s a thought that sparks a lot of my interest. Since I enjoy and absolutely depend on my computer to interact with all you faithful and new readers on the web; I thought that I would talk about how to economize your fuel usage via a direct interface with your car’s ECU ( fancy word for computer).
TurnerTools.Com is just one of many tuning shops on the Internet. They have several interesting tuning products for sale and I have been taking a lot of time just reading about them and thought that I would present them to you for your interest. In the interests of time, I will add more comments tomorrow. This will be a short comment. Trust me, nothing too detailed in the art of tuning for speed or economy just some thoughts that might help us achieve better miles per gallon with the gas guzzler that we own.
We have talked about the Scangauge II and said that it can be a great support while we are juggling around the millivoltmeter with one hand and trying to make sure that the wiring on our Oxygen Sensor closest to the Catalytic Converter is correct for our EFIE to work on. The Scangauge will give us continuous readouts for fuel economy ( read MPG) through the fuel trip gauge and its 5-6 specific readouts. For $159.95 I thought that it was somewhat pricey but something that I would like to have. There were several for sale through Ebay Motors and those prices were a little bit more than the one I saw at TurnerTools.Com. The data stream from the Scangauge would give us up to date information from our engine as we were driving . A picture that I saw of the Scangauge in action was from Ozzie Freedom ( Water4Gas) and showed him actually getting double gas miles per gallon. What joy that would be. This Post will be continued tomorrow with several other devices from Turner Tools that will have a good effect on miles per gallon and fuel economy. One device is from Innovate and here is a direct link to the device. I think that you will be interested. More on this and another one tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by and reading.

This was an email to a gentleman in response to some questions from his children. I thought that I would re-print it here for what its worth.
As to whether the stuff ( Hydrogen Generation) works - yes but a qualified yes. If you expect 50 % mileage gains right off the bat, you probably won’t get them. If your expectations are more reasonable, 15-25% mileage gains then that is very do-able. Much depends on the car- those model years before the car computers and sensors were installed, can do very well with hydrogen generators due to the fact that they have a carburetor rather than a more sophisticated fuel injection system. Those cars/trucks after the advent of computers in cars and their data feeds called sensors do not do as well. The reason stems from the algorithms used by the computer manufacturers and the many functional objectives that go into a fuel injection system such as: fuel efficiency, power output, emission control, reliability, and on and on. Many of the objectives can be somewhat competing or working at cross purposes such as fuel economy and for example power output .
A hydrogen generator can bubble nicely in a 1975 Dodge for example, and be feeding into the closest vacuum hose to the carburetor and you will get nice gains. But and there is always a but, take my Mada 03 Truck. It has at least seven sensors, the important one for fuel to air ratio’s is the O2 sensor closest to the catalytic converter. This tells the computer to alter the fuel flow depending on the amount of O2,CO2 in the exhaust system. The basic algorithm might say if there is XX% of O2 in this area, either increase the fuel or decrease the fuel. Everything else changes as well. The power train module (fancy name for computer) messes with the throttle to either retard or increase, shifting can take place, and on and on. But any gains from the hydrogen are soon lost through the ECU’s data which is read that more fuel is needed to overcome the situation of more O2/CO2 in the exhaust system. This is just an illustrative point. Actually the fuel to air ratio is handled in a much different manner but the results are the same. Less leaning and more rich are the ECU’s response to the changes.
What we do, we experimenters, we feed hydrogen and oxygen, and water vapor into the closest point to the inlet manifold ( for fuel injected vehicles) to help burn more completely the fractionated gasoline molecules. So we get a cleaner burn; thats good for the environment, good for the owner cause his car burns cleaner and his engine is cleaner inside , and some extra miles per gallon come about as a byproduct. To keep the gain then, you have to somehow fiddle with the prime sensor-the Oxygen sensor so that the data being sent to the computer will allow you to lean the car/truck even more than the algorithm allows it. Many folks in the field work quietly keeping their gains and using what is termed an an EFIE ( Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancement ) to lock in those gains.
Boy, this turned into a major paper on the state of the art. Let me say that hydrogen generation is here to stay and has been for the past 90 some years or more. The technology has been known for a long time its just that the crises with fossil fuels has finally reached a boiling point. Added to the pinch we are all feeling is the spectacle shown on Television each day of the useless flailing about of the Congress and Administration busily playing politics as usual, and doing little to act for the people. I feel personally that Hydrogen Generation will bring you gains-but probably not 50-100%. If you are reasonable, if you want to help clean the environment, if you want to become part of this group of experimenters ( and there are a lot of us) and if you are tired of the inaction of our most deplorable Congress and Administration then join us but remember to keep your expectations reasonable.
I forgot to add that I have a free ebook, A guide to building or buying a Hydrogen Generator . If you will email me at jimclay1153@gmail.com I will send it to you. Let me know in the email whether you are going to build or buy. If you are just thinking about it mention that as well. My Posts are usually pretty educational if I do say so myself. I try and keep fluff out of the Post and just give you the straight stuff as I see it of course. Anyway, if you are interested in the free ebook drop me an email. Fuel injected vehicles use a computer and sensing devices to sense and maintain the correct air/fuel ratio. One of the key sensing devices is the oxygen sensor. Fuel injected vehicles have one or more oxygen sensors installed in the exhaust stream. The computer extrapolates what the air/fuel ratio is based on the amount of oxygen in the exhaust, as reported by the oxygen sensor.
When a fuel saving device is installed, such as a hydroxy electrolyzer, the petroleum based fuel is burned more completely. One of the results of this is that there is more oxygen (and less unburned hydrocarbons) in the exhaust stream. This is a good thing, and is in fact, what we are trying to achieve. However, the computer will perceive this condition as a "too lean" air/fuel mix. In other words, what is now a desirable condition in the exhaust, will be interpreted as "not enough gas", and the computer will direct the fuel injectors to increase the amount of gas being pumped into the engine.
The result is that the oxygen sensor and computer prevent efficient combustion from occurring!
The Solution The oxygen sensor "tells" the computer what the oxygen content is by providing a voltage on it's signal wire between 0 and 1 volt. 450 millivolts (.45 volts) means that the fuel/air mixture is correct. Higher values means the mix is rich (has too much gas), and lower voltages means the mix is lean. By adding voltage to the sensor's output, we can compensate for the additional oxygen in the exhaust.
The Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer (EFIE) does exactly this. It adds a floating voltage to the top of whatever the oxygen sensor is putting out. It has an adjustment that allows you to control, to within a few millivolts, the amount of this added voltage. This allows the computer to be unaware of the additional oxygen content of the exhaust, and the electrolyzer can now achieve it's full potential in fuel savings.
Most cars have oxygen sensors both before and after the catalytic converter. The ones downstream from the converter do not need to be treated. Their data is used to determine when the converter has gone bad, but are not used in the air/fuel calculations. EFIEs are only needed for all upstream oxygen sensors.
If you are purchasing an EFIE for a fuel injected vehicle, go to www.fuelsaver-mpg.com, and get yours today.
