Is Your HHO System Giving You What You Need?

If you are wondering why your HHO system isn’t giving you better gas mileage after you have completed your generator, made sure that it worked, tested the connections for leakage , and watched the generator make a lot of gas, but still didn’t have any additional gas savings ;maybe your EFIE isn’t giving you the help you need. If you say, “EFIE,” what is that? I have news for you from the cutting-edge of EFIE Science. Additional gasoline savings from HHO are available to us through the efforts of a neat device called an EFIE.

Probably  the most important way to retain the gains from your hard-working HHO generator is to somehow alter the factory established air to fuel ratio programing of your car’s computer.  While some folks are able to interact with the programing algorithms most of us are afraid to alter or change these basic programs in the fear that our warranty could be violated. .  Having some good effect on changing the air to fuel ratio was always a tricky procedure which could alter several other sensors as well, with those changes not always in your favor. By this I mean that  too much leaning could violate programing guidelines which you were not aware of which could result in  multiple engine codes flashing on your dashboard.  The development of the EFIE was the first safe way around those problems.

In the past some fuel savers like a HHO System would not work when attached to  fuel injected cars and trucks because these vehicles were actually designed to prevent  efficient combustion. Increasing the combustion efficiency of the engine through .for example, a Water4Gas Generator increased the oxygen percentage in the exhaust therefore the problem with most of our factory derived computer algorithms.. Most ,if not all , fuel systems monitor the air/fuel ratio by monitoring the increase or decreased oxygen levels in the cars exhaust.  The sensor most used to monitor the air to fuel ratio is normally the inboard oxygen sensor, that one nearest to the Catalytic Converter . The amount of added oxygen in the exhaust sends a signal to the computer either to enrich the gas mixture or to lean the mixture. Unfortunately the best effects of your HHO System will add higher oxygen levels to the exhaust and , by the way, with a much cleaner exhaust thus having a positive effect on the environment. However your car will react to that signal in the opposite way you would wish by enriching the fuel mixture and burning more instead of less gasoline. But all is not lost.

 As I said, the  EFIE was developed to counteract that problem in a safe way.  The EFIE allows you to apply an offset to the voltage coming from the oxygen sensor, so that your cars’ computer is completely unaware the the oxygen content in the exhaust has increased. There are full instructions that come with each EFIE that will detail how to install and how to work the little gadget. For your information I bought my first one from Eagle Research and it was okay but was the bare bones one for $75.00 including postage. My second one was from fuelsavers-mpg.com and it was much better and easier to work with. And best of all, less expensive. The EFIE alone can save you 5-10% on your fuel bill simply by leaning your fuel mixture, but it is really designed as an add-on for fuel savers such as hydrogen generators.

Building A Hydrogen Generator Is Not Difficult

Building the Hydrogen Generator is truly not a real big deal. The construction process is fairly easy and many folks have built themselves one or another of the current types available without buying one of the currently available Manuals. It is interesting to watch as these folks. grow in their ability to build generators. They many times go way beyond the capacity and interests of most of us and themselves become the cutting edge of HHO construction. If you hang around the forums such as on Yahoo and at Water4Gas you soon recognize the wolves that also lurk in the forum that will swiftly remove some money from you if possible; or those who like to cast doubt on the ability of these new people trying to learn as much as possible to be able to build; so be careful and cautious in your dealings with forum-mates.

The great thing about this field is the many people out there from all over the world that are eager to help those of us who are beginners in HHO construction. But there is a down side to construction. What seems to work and gives you a few additional miles per gallon can after awhile become so-so and not worth continuing for the amount of effort provided. And that my friend is just what OPEC and Big Oil and the Refiners wish you to do. If you would just fold your tent and steal away off the playing field that would be playing into their hands. Their watch-word will always be, Status Quo. Just keep spending your money for their overpriced and inefficient gas and everything will be okay. They like sheep not wolves so it behooves them to keep us at the level of sheep. And there is no question that we are shorn every so often as gasoline prices continue to creep up. But if you are willing to read, study a little for background, and know what you want from your HHO unit and are willing to apply some elbow grease then believe me you will be able to build your own.

How To Save Money At The Gas Pumps

Here are some thoughts if you aren’t yet certain about which way to go with the water/gas technology. For a very well rounded education you definitely need to get Ozzie Freedoms books, at water4gas. At $ 97.00it is expensive but not as expensive as doing nothing while the price of gas inches up above $3.00 in the States and heavens knows what in the rest of the world. I feel that the price will go on up to heights of 4 and 5 dollars a gallon. If you are not trying to extend your mileage then you are loosing every time you have to pull in to the gas pumps. I have bought Ozzie’s books and I feel that it gave me a good start in understanding the technology and of courszxe building my generator.

My wife and I figured out that we pay almost two hundred dollars additioinal a quarter for gasoline for our car and truck and I do not drive the truck very much. Our gas expenditures have increased almost 200 percent while our income has stayed the same. Since we are retired anything that rises like gasoline needs to be addressed quickly before it causes us irreparable harm. We feel that saving 23 to 30 % of our monthly gasoline cost is well worth the purchase of Ozzie’s books and the help he gives you to build either the vaporizer , electrolysis unit along with the other electronic gadgets that are necessary for the newer cars and trucks, like my EFIE.

If I can save even something then I am gaining what I can from BIG OIL and OPEC.. Its a blow for my energy independence and freedom from the enslavement to gasoline. Wow, I didn’t know that I had it in me!! But seriously, each of us needs to make some commitment to savings at the gas pump or our life style will not be anywhere near what we had enjoyed before 9/11

For those of us with newer cars and truck that are fuel injected, the suggestion is that using an EFIE alone can give some gas savings of 3-5 percent and maybe more. But it takes you to check your engine and discover whether your oxygen sensors are narrow band or wide band. Also check to see that you have fuel injection and not a carburetor. Fuel injected cars and trucks were perpetrated on us starting in 1988, I think and there went the ease of leaning your own carburetor. Our car industry have not treated us well. Through the ECU and other electronic things that are applied to our cars and truck, the combustion of gasoline in the car/truck was set to rich without thought of complete combustion or combustion that did not pollute the atmosphere. We need to move forward and do what Detroit can’t or won’t do and using water/ gas technology burn cleaner and less polluting through the water/gas electrolysis and vaporizer units. As an additional concern is that if you do not use an EFIE you probably will not be able to lock in your gains in additional milles per gallon so it makes sense to learn about the tweaks necessary to have gains. The Easiest Of All Hydrogen Generators-Continued

Building the Charged Water System from Watr4Gas is a relatively easy task. There is not much in the way of materials and expertise that you need. Probably the easiest part is to purchase the Manuals from Water4Gas. Com.

To try and do this on the cheap so to speak just will not get you very far. Oh you can find many videos showing certain parts of this simple system( I have three videos showing the internal parts of the terminals for Water4Gas) and those are on my website and are free to you. Please help yourself to everything that you need from the Posts, the website and the free ebook.However to find everything that you really need does require that you purchase the Manuals. Actually purchasing the manuals will take you many steps to your goal of increasing the usage you will get from each single gallon of gasoline.

As the price continues to increase and if you are waiting for any government to help you I believe that you will be in for a long wait. I don’t think that there will be any new magic program out there that will lead you by the hand so that you will be able to get additional amounts of extra miles from each gallon. Easily achievable results are usually in the 25% category and Ozzie Freedom ( a pen name for the owner of Water4Gas) says that he has seen greater gains from packs of generators in cars and trucks. So if you are really serious to want to beat the system the best thing that you can do is use the enclosed link and first purchase the Water4Gas Manuals. Not only are the directions, descriptions and photos easily followed but there are a number of other benefits that come from this step.

One of the benefits comes from being your own boss. If you have ever wanted to have your own business and freedom from the drudgery of working for others then this might be readily available to you. How you ask? Anyone with even the minimum of ability to assemble these generators and a little know-how in finding your way around a gasoline engine compartment can also install a Water4Gas System. This is one time that a word-of-mouth program can lead to a steady income. Many have done just that. From already established Mechanics to absolute beginners. The folks at Water4Gas have a section on their website showing the steps that can be taken to achieve that goal.

So there are other benefits besides building your own generator. But don’t take my word for it just travel to that website and see for yourself.

My results from the Charged Water System gave me an addition of 3 and sometimes 4 extra miles per gallon. My Mazda truck is rated at 16 miles per gallon according to the factory specs. I was able to achieve 19 and sometimes 20 MPG driving at a decent speed. I also wrapped the upstream O2 sensor with 2 sheets of aluminum foil wrapping that VERY CAREFULLY with two pieces of copper wire to keep the foli in place and not breaking the sensor. I used an already purchased EFIE since the EFIE controls the prime sensor ( the Oxygen Sensor) that relates to the air to fuel ratio.

I used that system up to the big drop in fuel prices here in the states after the election. Now however I think that I will have to dust off the old system and fire it up because fuel is rising again and since much of the add-on prices stem from the different states (and North Carolina is real expensive ) these prices will not be going back down any time soon. The easiest of all Hydrogen Generators to build, the Water4gas Charged Water System

You can not hardly go wrong with a Water4gas Charged Water System. I know because I built one that was raggedly and ill built but it works and over time I was able to generate enough Hydrogen Gas to give my Mazda Truck an extra 3 and sometimes 4 MPG over the rated 16 MPG

I started looking seriously at the Water4gas system last April 08. Knowing that I am not the moot gifted builder on the net and probably I am the least able to drive screws straight or understand what an anode or cathode was makes my achievement all the better. Truly if I can do it any one could probably duplicate my fumbling works and come out with an elegant and finished Hydrogen Generator.

I had received lots of emails asking for the free ebook that I wrote as much for myself to learn about the Water4gas System and Hydrogen Generators.. After some days researching I wrote eight pages that seemed to hang together pretty well and made sense to me. While researching I came across the Water4gas System that was touted as being the easiest and simplest Hydrogen Generator to build. After looking at the other systems I decided that simplicity was the key to a good system and if I could build it myself I could also trouble shoot it in case of problems. I found that key to the Water4gas System was true. Simplicity and ease of construction were and still are the hallmarks of that remarkable system.

The part about placing a live bubbling Hydrogen Generator under the hood however made my uneasy the longer I thought about I, I thought what if something bad happened while I was driving. What would I do? I had a bunch of que4stions including the old concern about glass being shrapnel and really doing damage to the owner and the driving compartment of the car or truck. If the generator as originally written about-a Ball Quart Fruit Jar would explode the comment about glass shrapnel would be true however let me say that the Water4gas people chose a unique receptacle- a Ball Quart Jar that was also an old standby for pressure canning. My wife cans so I asked her about the jar. Her comment was that she has been canning for years and used these jars exclusively and had been using her mother’s canning jars and places them in a pressure cooker. Her mother’s quart and half gallon jars had been used to can prior to WWII and had never broken under the pressure used to can and seal the lids. Sounded good enough for me since I didn’t think that I would be stressing my generator that much.

The next big step for me was getting over the fear of the live generator under the hood where I couldn’t see it. That was a sticking point for me up to the time that I discovered the next step in the Water4Gas System, The Charged Water System. .So simple and easy that a child could do it. Although you definitely would not want a child to mess around with Hydrogen Generators, building the charged system is relatively easy and is very simple to construct.

Simple Hydrogen Generator For Cars and Trucks

This is a Post on the nuts and bolts of building a simple hydrogen generator that you can use for either cars or trucks. Posting on a blog I have found that a really good article doesn’t last long until another one is put in its place. The more articles posted to the blog, the more difficult it is to zero in on the really good ones about hydrogen generators that are filled with the information that you need to build a generator safely. So I have decided to rerun this first article in the series on building the Water4Gas simplified and easy to build generator. I have also added what is called a widget to the right side of the blog listing good and timely articles on hydrogen generators and touching on both water4gas types and smack types.

This first video in the series deals with making the Plexiglas framework that you will hang the double twined 316L wire on and fastened both at the top for the terminal cap and the bottom on the framework itself. If you don’t understand much of that, just watch the video and you will see what I am talking about Remember too, that the 316L stainless steel wire should be at least doubled at the beginning if not tripled and then braided. He uses an electric drill which is common in the states but might not be all that common where you live. Just remember to braid the wire for greater surface for the hydrogen atoms to attached themselves to while the electrolysis is going on.

As the price of gasoline continues to increase around the world you should be able to counteract this negative impact on your family’s resources by building a simple Hydrogen Generator and maximize your gasoline consumption. Remember that you have the key to making a strong positive impact on your personal financial resources by using this website as your ally in the fight against those who would continue to help themselves to your family’s money. When you feel that you are ready to build, you should purchase plans from one of the companies on the web. The reason that I say to purchase the manuals is that none of these videos show you all the details in building that are clearly described in the manuals. There is just so much more information that is helpful to you beside the pictures of the building process. For example, the first manual in this series from Water4gas deals with many gas saving tips. So many that you will not remember all of them, but some you should definitely put into use with each tank of gas you purchase. Just one more way to extend miles and save gas and money.

I use Water4gas and and some of the reasons that I do besides what I have said previously is that they have a great deal of information on their homepage and specially in their forum which can’t be found anywhere else. The forum is a priceless resource and any time you spend there is adding much hard to find data to your knowledge. There you can find all the information about building the generators, about installing them, trouble-shooting the system and best of all, a lot of people who can answer your questions without making you feel dumb for asking.

Finally let me say that trying to build a hydrogen generator on the cheap is just not a good idea. Hydrogen gas is extremely volatile and readily explodes in the presence of an open flame. These are not toys and extreme caution should be used around them. Your best bet is to purchase the Water4gas manuals and use them.

I found this on YouTube and liked what I saw. If you still think that you cannot build a Hydrogen Generator watch this very interesting video. I’ll bet that you can put one together over the week-end and install it in your car. It is not Rocket Science and anyone can do it. Dry Cell Hydrogen Generator From Anto in Indonesia

the generator consist of 16 plate SS316L, 1.2mm thick, size 15X15cm, between plate i use ‘O’ ring seal 2.6mm thick and 15cm diameter, the end plate i use pertinax 10mm thick, size 20X20cm.  To see some photographs of earlier Dry Cells from Anto use the search feature on the right side of the  Tapwaterforgas website. The title of the earlier Post is: A Simple Hydrogen Generator or just type : Anto and you will come up with the earlier information.  

Remember too that whether you use a Dry Cell or a regular Water4gas Generator or that elegant Smacks, you must still use the EFIE to keep your gasoline gains. Be smart and go for the one that I  talked about   in the previous Post. In the long run. it is less expensive than the one I bought, easier to set up and easier to tweak to establish your way points.

I just heard from a visitor to my website, Anto from Indonesia. He has just completed a new hydrogen generator, a dry cell type and has also sent pix. I will try and add that to this Post tomorrow AM and will try and add his pix as well.  I might add that I was contacted by several guys from Poland who tell me that the gasoline prices are really soaring up there. I hope that your prices haven’t really started up with such increases. They are really worried. I think that we all should be a little concerned but if you avail yourselves of the good, free  information on this site you should be sitting pretty and not too worried with the rising of the prices. After all, it is not difficult to build a generator and many have done it and are enjoying the additional miles per gallon.
